Support Pharmacist

About the role

As a Support Pharmacist at Boots Ireland you will deliver high‑quality patient care, combining expert advice with compassionate service. You will work within a community pharmacy setting, ensuring safety and compliance while supporting customers and patients.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the pharmacy strategy by providing expert care and advice to customers and patients.
• Make accountable legal and ethical decisions in the pharmacy.
• Build pharmacy capability within store teams through training and support.
• Conduct continuous reviews, audits, observations and risk assessments to maintain safety.
• Provide a range of professional pharmacy services in line with national and local guidelines.

Required profile

• Registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI).
• Demonstrated professional expertise respected by peers, patients and external professionals.
• Passion for community pharmacy and delivering outstanding patient care.
• Collaborative, team‑oriented approach.
• Excellent communication skills, able to put people at ease.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and delivery of national and local services.
