System Administrator / Cloud Engineer

About the role
We are seeking an experienced System Administrator / Cloud Engineer to join a well‑established organisation’s IT team in Dublin South West. The role combines management of on‑premises Windows infrastructure with the design, deployment and support of Microsoft Azure services, ensuring critical systems run smoothly while new cloud technologies are introduced.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
- Design, configure and support Azure Virtual Machines, networking, storage and Azure AD.
- Administer Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online services.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Python or Azure CLI.
- Provide networking support including VPNs, firewalls and overall infrastructure troubleshooting.
Required profile
- Proven experience in system administration and cloud engineering.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities and clear communication skills.
- Willingness to work onsite in Dublin South West.
