Systems Administrator – Health, Safety & Security

About the role

New Simberi Gold Limited is seeking two permanent Systems Administrators to support its Health, Safety and Security (HSS) application systems at the Simberi Operation in Papua New Guinea. The role involves ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient operation of access control and bus ticketing platforms while working on a 21/14 roster.

Key responsibilities

• Administer HSS application systems, including user accounts, permissions, and access levels.
• Support and maintain access control systems – enrolment, updates, troubleshooting, and reporting.
• Support and maintain the bus ticketing system – user support, configuration, issue resolution, and data verification.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and data integrity; escalate technical issues as needed.
• Provide first‑level user support and coordinate with vendors or IT teams for complex problems.
• Maintain accurate system records, configuration documentation, and user registers.
• Assist with system upgrades, testing, process improvements, and new functionality implementation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, cyber‑security requirements, and HSS operational needs.
• Prepare routine reports and supply system data for departmental decisions and compliance.

• Willingness to work on a 21/14 roster at various sites across Papua New Guinea.
