Tax Accountant

About the role

Our client, a leading global financial services and technology firm, is expanding its European Finance team and seeks an experienced Tax Accountant based in Dublin. The role offers the chance to work on a wide range of European tax matters in a fast‑paced, international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage European tax compliance across Corporate Tax, VAT, DWT, FTT, Stamp Duties and Transfer Pricing.
• Support tax reporting, audits and respond to tax authority enquiries.
• Monitor legislative changes and advise on business impact.
• Maintain robust tax governance, controls and policies.
• Collaborate with Finance, Trading, HR and external advisers on tax issues.
• Drive process improvements, automation and finance transformation initiatives.
• Assist business expansion into new jurisdictions.

Required profile

• CTA/AITI (or equivalent) qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of tax compliance or advisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of Irish corporate tax and tax accounting.
• Experience handling multiple tax heads for international businesses.
• Excellent analytical, stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Financial‑services or capital‑markets exposure is a plus.
