Tax Manager – Insurance

About the role
Join a leading financial services organization as a Tax Manager focused on the insurance sector. You will lead strategic tax initiatives, ensure compliance excellence, and provide expert advice to senior leadership on evolving tax regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute tax planning strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Manage complex compliance projects and oversee tax reporting and audit processes.
- Advise leadership on regulatory changes and mitigate tax risk.
- Collaborate with finance and business units to integrate tax considerations into decision‑making.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities to resolve issues promptly.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualification strongly preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive tax experience within the financial services industry.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client or regulatory meetings.
Required skills
- Advanced proficiency with tax software.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office Suite.
