Tax Manager

About the role

This full‑time, hybrid Tax Manager position is based in Dublin and offers flexibility to work from home part of the week. You will manage a portfolio of corporate and individual tax clients, delivering high‑quality compliance and advisory services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of corporate and individual tax clients.
• Review tax computations and returns, ensuring timely filing.
• Ensure compliance with Irish and relevant international tax regulations.
• Design and implement tax‑efficient structures and advise on transactions.
• Identify planning opportunities and provide tax‑efficient solutions.
• Lead, mentor and supervise junior team members.
• Coordinate with accountancy and advisory colleagues.
• Liaise directly with clients and tax authorities.
• Contribute to technical updates, internal knowledge sharing and business development initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong technical capability in corporate and personal tax matters and current Irish tax regulations.
• Proven experience in tax planning, advisory and compliance.
• Relevant professional qualification (e.g., AITI/CTA, ACA/ACCA) and experience in a professional services environment.
• Solid understanding of tax law with the ability to interpret legislation and communicate implications.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organisational skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication, with client‑facing experience.
• Leadership experience supervising and mentoring junior staff and fostering an inclusive team culture.
