Tax Manager Lead

About the role

We are partnering with an innovative Irish business with a global footprint to hire a Tax Manager Lead who will own the tax and audit functions, reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller and having access to the Executive Team and Board.

Key responsibilities

• Lead corporation tax, indirect tax and customs compliance across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring accurate and timely filings through coordination of internal stakeholders and external advisers.
• Own the Group’s transfer pricing framework, aligning policies and intercompany pricing with the operating model, global tax strategy, OECD guidelines and local requirements.
• Partner with Finance, Commercial and Supply Chain teams to reflect organisational and supply‑chain changes in the transfer pricing model.
• Implement and maintain global e‑invoicing and digital reporting solutions, working with Finance, IT and external partners to embed scalable ERP‑based systems.
• Oversee VAT governance, including registrations, compliance, reconciliations and advisory support.
• Develop and maintain tax policies and procedures, conduct internal reviews and evolve the framework as needed.
• Create tax risk management reporting that feeds into the Group risk reporting and present tax risk elements to the Risk Committee.

Required profile

• CTA qualified, preferably with Big 4 training experience across both direct and indirect tax.
• 3‑5 years post‑qualified tax experience within multinational organisations.
• Strong knowledge of Irish corporation tax, VAT and transfer pricing.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and present tax risk matters to the Risk Committee.
