Tax Manager – Senior Tax Compliance & Advisory Role

About the role

We are partnering with a well‑established professional services firm to recruit a Tax Manager. This senior position offers a blend of technical tax work, client interaction, and team leadership within a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of personal and business tax compliance for a diverse client portfolio.
• Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring high technical quality and adherence to deadlines.
• Identify tax planning and advisory opportunities, supporting structuring, transactions, and succession planning.
• Manage client relationships and act as the primary point of contact for tax matters.
• Coordinate with tax authorities when required and support workflow planning across the tax team.
• Collaborate with other service lines to deliver integrated client solutions.
• Contribute to business development, proposals, and new service offerings.

Required profile

• Qualified tax or accountancy professional with post‑qualification experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of taxation, preferably within a professional services setting.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver advisory or compliance work.
• Excellent communication skills and the capacity to explain complex tax matters clearly.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and able to juggle multiple priorities.
• Experience supervising junior staff is advantageous.
