Technology Transformation Senior Manager – Insurance Sector

About the role

Join PwC’s Insurance and Transformation Consulting team as a Senior Manager leading technology‑enabled transformation programmes for insurance clients. You will drive end‑to‑end initiatives across underwriting, claims, policy administration and distribution, working closely with senior client executives in a hybrid work model.

Key responsibilities

• Lead large‑scale core systems and digital transformation engagements for insurance organisations.
• Define delivery roadmaps and technology‑enabled business strategies aligned with client objectives.
• Provide senior leadership and quality assurance across multiple technology and business workstreams.
• Advise client executives on core systems modernisation and digital enablement.
• Manage the full project lifecycle from business case development through design, implementation and post‑deployment review.
• Build and maintain relationships with technology vendors and alliance partners.
• Mentor and coach PwC consultants, contributing to practice growth and proposition development.

Required profile

• 8–10 years of experience leading core systems or large technology‑enabled transformation programmes in the insurance sector (life, non‑life, re‑insurance or specialty lines).
• Deep knowledge of insurance platforms such as policy administration and claims ecosystems.
• Proven collaborative leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to communicate complex transformation concepts to C‑suite, technical teams and operational staff.
