TIG Welder – Banbridge (Temporary, £18‑£20/hr)

About the role

We are seeking a reliable TIG Welder to join our fast‑paced manufacturing team in Banbridge. The position offers a competitive hourly rate, daytime working hours with an early finish on Fridays, and the possibility of overtime.

Key responsibilities

• Perform precise TIG welding and fabrication according to engineering and blueprint drawings.
• Fabricate pipework sections using black iron and stainless‑steel to required standards.
• Prepare weld surfaces, manage equipment and consumables, and carry out pre‑ and post‑weld quality checks.
• Operate standard hand and power tools safely for fabrication and welding tasks.
• Follow site Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) procedures, including mandatory PPE and extraction equipment use.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of hands‑on TIG welding and pipework fabrication experience.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings independently.
• Proficiency with black iron and stainless‑steel pipe welding.
• Capability to pass an on‑site practical weld test.
• Ability to complete a basic DBS check.
