TIG Welder – Temporary Position in Banbridge

About the role

We are looking for an experienced TIG Welder to join our manufacturing team in Banbridge on a temporary basis, with the potential to become permanent for high‑performing candidates. The role involves delivering high‑quality TIG welding and fabrication work in a safety‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform precise TIG welding and fabrication tasks according to SOPs and company procedures.
• Prepare weld surfaces, manage welding equipment and consumables, and conduct pre‑ and post‑weld quality checks.
• Undergo on‑site weld testing to qualify for specific company procedures.
• Strictly follow Health, Safety, and Environment protocols, using appropriate extraction and PPE.
• Act as a role model for safety and contribute to continuous improvement and workplace cleanliness.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of hands‑on TIG welding experience.
• Ability to pass an on‑site practical weld test.
• Excellent manual dexterity, high attention to detail, and strong work ethic.
• Capability to work unsupervised and make quality‑focused decisions.
