Trainee Manager – Retail (Limerick, Ireland)

About the role

We are seeking a Trainee Manager to join a leading Irish food and convenience retailer in Limerick. This permanent, full-time position offers the chance to develop managerial skills while working under the guidance of experienced managers.

Key responsibilities

• Work under supervision of senior managers to learn all company functions, policies and staff duties.
• Assist in daily store operations and support the team in a fast‑paced retail environment.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring high service standards.
• Participate in health, safety and food‑safety compliance activities.

Required profile

• Minimum one year of retail experience with proven supervisory responsibilities.
• Knowledge of HACCP, health and safety, and food safety protocols.
• Excellent communication, time‑management and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to work and delegate effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Advanced level of English.

What we offer
