Trainer II – Automotive Training

About the role

Solera is looking for an experienced automotive Trainer to deliver high‑quality training across South Africa. The role is virtual, with regular travel to customer sites for on‑site sessions, and works closely with the Regional Training Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver automotive training courses on‑site and remotely, ensuring effective knowledge transfer.
• Develop, update and maintain training materials such as presentations and handouts.
• Collaborate with the training team to identify needs, design programs and create schedules.
• Assess participant performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Stay current with industry trends, regulations and best practices and integrate them into curricula.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, addressing training‑related inquiries.
• Continuously improve training methodologies and report on program effectiveness.
• Support the Sales team as the subject‑matter expert for training opportunities.
• Work with Professional Services on major projects, including platform migrations.
• Meet KPIs related to training quality, customer satisfaction and revenue targets.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of automotive standards and processes, especially for the body‑shop segment.
• Proven experience delivering automotive training to varied audiences.
• Excellent verbal and written presentation and communication skills.
