Transport Director – Government & Public Sector Advisory

About the role

PwC Ireland is expanding its Transport team within the Government & Public Sector practice. As a Transport Director you will shape the strategic direction of the transport advisory practice, lead large‑scale transformation programmes and help deliver Ireland’s major transport investment agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Drive business development for transport accounts, identify new opportunities and lead proposal and pitch processes.
• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of transformation programmes, including operating model design, procurement strategy and operational effectiveness.
• Ensure high‑quality outputs that meet client expectations, project goals and PwC standards.
• Apply project‑ and change‑management methodologies across engagements and champion benefits realisation.
• Build and maintain senior stakeholder relationships across the transport sector and navigate political and operational complexities.

Required profile

• Deep knowledge of Ireland’s public sector, government structures and political environment.
• Proven record of delivering complex, infrastructure‑intensive projects at a senior level.
• Strong stakeholder leadership and ability to influence senior decision‑makers.
• Experience shaping go‑to‑market strategies and achieving revenue targets.
