Trust and Safety Analyst Manager

About the role

Google’s Trust and Safety team protects users and advertisers across its core products. As a Trust and Safety Analyst Manager you will lead a global team that enforces advertising policies, balances user safety with advertiser experience, and deploys AI‑driven solutions to combat fraud and harmful content.

Key responsibilities

• Define and enforce advertising policies across Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads.
• Lead multi‑quarter projects that align user safety with customer experience goals.
• Manage a medium‑sized team of analysts and Trust & Safety experts, handling hiring, mentoring, and retention.
• Deploy AI and other technical solutions to scale policy enforcement and fraud detection.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with engineering, product, legal, and sales teams.
• Participate in on‑call rotations, reviewing graphic or controversial content as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years in data analytics, trust & safety, policy, cybersecurity, or related fields.
• 5+ years of leadership experience with a focus on hiring, mentoring, and talent retention.
• Experience managing complex litigation, tech policy, and regulatory enforcement at the intersection of AI governance and government rules.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders (Director+ level) across multiple functions.
