UAT Lead – Financial Services Transformation (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced UAT Lead to drive User Acceptance Testing for a major financial services transformation programme. The role combines strategic ownership of UAT governance with hands‑on execution across multiple workstreams, ensuring business readiness and stakeholder sign‑off.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the UAT strategy, approach and governance framework.
• Plan and manage end‑to‑end UAT activities across several delivery streams.
• Coordinate business SMEs, operational teams, technology teams and third‑party suppliers.
• Lead defect triage, issue resolution and ensure full traceability between requirements, test scenarios, defects and business sign‑off.
• Produce regular progress updates, risk reports and executive‑level status reporting.
• Facilitate governance forums and stakeholder workshops.
• Drive successful business acceptance and readiness activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading UAT within large‑scale transformation programmes.
• Strong background in the financial services sector.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience managing business users, SMEs and third‑party suppliers throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Experience working in regulated environments.
