Warehouse Operations Manager

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast‑growing 3PL logistics provider in North West Dublin as an Assistant Operations Manager. You will support day‑to‑day warehouse activities while helping to build structure, capability and high‑performing teams as the business scales.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily warehouse operations including inbound, storage, picking and dispatch.
• Ensure customer SLAs and KPIs are consistently met.
• Monitor labour utilisation, productivity and workflow efficiency.
• Identify and resolve operational challenges in real time.
• Maintain strong inventory control and stock accuracy.
• Supervise, coach and develop warehouse teams and team leads.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding and training as the operation expands.
• Drive a high‑performance, accountable team culture.
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Support development and rollout of SOPs and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and promote a safety‑first culture.
• Engage with internal stakeholders, customers and suppliers to maintain strong service levels.

Required profile

• 3‑5+ years of experience in logistics, warehousing or 3PL environments.
• Previous supervisory or team‑leadership experience.
• Hands‑on approach with ability to lead from the front.
• Experience in fast‑paced, high‑volume operations.
• Strong understanding of warehouse KPIs and performance metrics.
• Excellent communication and people‑management skills.
• Proven ability to thrive in a scaling or changing environment.
• Energetic, adaptable, results‑driven and highly organised.
