Warehouse Operative and Delivery Driver

About the role

We are looking for a reliable and safety‑conscious Warehouse Operative and Delivery Driver to join our Stores & Logistics team in Mallow. This hands‑on position combines warehouse duties with delivery driving across Munster, supporting our renewable energy projects.

Key responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods to customers, suppliers, or job sites.
• Load and unload vehicles following safety procedures and verify delivery documentation.
• Plan efficient delivery routes and maintain vehicles, reporting any defects.
• Receive, check, and store incoming goods accurately.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch.
• Operate forklifts, pallet trucks, and other warehouse equipment (training provided if required).
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑organised warehouse environment.
• Assist with stock control, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of warehouse and/or delivery driving experience.
• Full, clean Category B driving licence (categories C, C1, or C1E advantageous).
• Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificates are desirable.
• Valid Forklift licence (counter‑balance and/or reach truck) – essential.
• Certification for Working at Heights is desirable.
• Flexibility to cover a predefined territory, predominantly Munster.
• Strong physical fitness with the ability to lift and move heavy goods safely.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, reliability, punctuality and customer‑service skills.
• Fluent English – verbal and written.
