Warehouse Technician – GMP Manufacturing

About the role

The Warehouse Technician supports the Warehouse Team in a GMP‑regulated manufacturing site, ensuring safe and compliant material flow for drug substance production. You will handle receipt, sampling, internal movements, picking, kitting and outbound shipping while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute goods receipting and material sampling according to site procedures and ANSI standards.
• Perform picking, kitting and pack‑out for manufacturing material requests.
• Conduct cycle counts and manage outbound logistics, including dangerous goods handling.
• Record all activities in electronic log systems (eLogs) and act as a key user of the ERP system (SAP/COMET).
• Support laboratory and quality systems such as GLIMS.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement projects, quality event investigations and audits.
• Maintain SOPs, act as a qualified trainer and specialize in an operational area (e.g., cold‑chain logistics).
• Engage in GEMBA walks, Tier boards and cross‑functional training.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in a GMP‑regulated manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Level 6 qualification (or equivalent) required; forklift licence desirable.
• Proven ability to work independently and within cross‑functional teams.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, diversity and inclusion.

Required skills

• ERP system experience – SAP or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Forklift operation (licence preferred).
