Accommodation/Laundry Assistant

About the role

Altadore is seeking a cheerful and caring Accommodation/Laundry Assistant to join its supportive team. You will help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents by caring for their rooms and providing friendly interaction during cleaning tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain resident rooms to meet quality standards.
• Perform routine cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing.
• Engage with residents in a positive manner while completing cleaning tasks.
• Ensure laundry areas are kept tidy and equipment is used correctly.
• Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate supervisor.

Required profile

• Positive, caring attitude with a genuine interest in resident wellbeing.
• Ability to pass Garda (police) clearance.
• Suitable character references.
• Legal right to work in Ireland (EU/EEA citizenship or unrestricted work permit).
