Account Manager

About the role

As an Account Manager you will be responsible for growing the customer base and developing long‑term partnerships across the Clare and West of Ireland region. You will manage an established portfolio of accounts while identifying new business opportunities and helping customers find the right industrial, PPE and engineering solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and grow your sales territory by managing existing customer accounts and winning new business.
• Build strong, long‑lasting relationships with customers, identifying opportunities to increase sales and profitability.
• Deliver against agreed sales and margin targets through proactive account management and business development.
• Identify market trends and new opportunities to support sustainable business growth.
• Maintain an effective call plan and keep accurate customer records using CRM systems.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the business to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a target‑driven sales or account management role.
• Excellent relationship‑building, communication and negotiation skills.
• A proactive, self‑motivated approach with strong organisational skills.
• Commercial awareness with the ability to identify and develop business opportunities.
• The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
• A full, clean Irish driving licence.
