Account Strategist – SMB Scaled (Google Customer Solutions)

About the role

As an Account Strategist for Google Customer Solutions, you will partner with small‑ and medium‑sized businesses in Italy to help them grow using Google’s advertising products. You will act as a trusted advisor, shaping digital strategies that drive measurable results.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve ambitious quarterly business and product growth targets.
• Build and nurture relationships with SMB owners through phone calls, email outreach and regular consultations.
• Own a portfolio of small businesses, understand their growth drivers, identify opportunities, manage risks and create quarterly plans.
• Advise clients on optimizing their Google Ads investment to maximize return.
• Deliver an outstanding sales experience that meets customers’ business and marketing objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience in digital sales, client management, business development, marketing or digital advertising.
• Fluent communication skills in both English and Italian.
• Demonstrated ability to use sales techniques such as effective questioning, objection handling and engaged selling.
• Track record of owning a portfolio, exceeding quotas and influencing internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
