Accountant, Fixed Assets

About the role

Google is seeking a Fixed Assets Accountant to join its global finance team. You will own end‑to‑end accounting for fixed assets, support external audits, and provide insightful financial analysis to senior leaders across APAC and EMEA.

Key responsibilities

• Interface with statutory compliance partners in APAC and EMEA, ensuring high‑quality service.
• Serve as a primary contact for external auditors, coordinating audit planning, execution, and documentation.
• Prepare and present financial information to finance leaders and other stakeholders.
• Support centralized audit functions, stakeholder queries, and complex reporting initiatives.
• Drive automation and efficiency in fixed‑asset and inventory accounting processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.
• At least 4 years of accounting experience (or 1 year with an advanced degree).
• Experience in fixed‑asset or inventory accounting and working with external auditors.
• Proficiency in data analytics and SQL.
• Collaborative style with the ability to work across cross‑functional, international teams.
• Strong problem‑solving and executive‑level communication skills.
