Accountant (Fixed-Term)

About the role

We are seeking a talented and driven Accountant to join our finance team on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. You will take ownership of key accounting functions from day one, working in a fast‑paced environment that values continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage cash, reconcile account balances and inter‑account cash flows.
• Produce internal and external investment reports, including Solvency II regulatory submissions.
• Operate payable procedures and perform trade reconciliation against custodian holdings.
• Execute month‑end reconciliations and oversee daily NAV calculation and control.
• Price underlying assets of unit‑linked funds and company‑owned portfolios.
• Monitor outsourced fund administrator performance and ensure timely, accurate reporting.
• Coordinate expense analysis, accruals and allocations in line with fund documentation.
• Support external audit and internal audit processes by preparing reconciliations and control evidence.

Required profile

• Intellectually curious, self‑motivated and comfortable taking initiative.
• Strong attention to detail and proactive mindset.
• Experience in accounting or fund administration, with hands‑on invoicing and reporting exposure.
