Accountant

About the role

This position is a highly visible finance role within a large, multi‑site organisation. The successful candidate will work across finance operations, business improvement projects and senior stakeholder engagement, offering a blend of strategic influence and operational responsibility.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, review and enhance operational finance processes and controls.
• Analyse financial risks, business trends and operational performance to support decision‑making.
• Partner with business stakeholders to drive efficiencies and strengthen reporting frameworks.
• Support strategic projects, system implementations and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Deliver meaningful financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership teams.

Required profile

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or a strong finance/business background.
• Commercially minded with a proactive approach to problem‑solving and process improvement.
