Accounting Expert

About the role

JD.com is seeking an Accounting Expert to lead end‑to‑end accounting operations across its global business. The role will ensure accurate financial records, support strategic decision‑making, and drive process automation within a fast‑moving, technology‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily accounting activities including revenue, expenditures and capital expenditures, validate document compliance and manage month‑ and year‑end closing.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and conduct variance analysis to provide actionable business insights.
• Identify workflow inefficiencies, design and implement automation solutions such as system integrations and rule‑based workflows, and refine SOPs and internal controls.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, supply required documentation, and monitor tax compliance and incentive applications.
• Perform regular account reconciliations, assess risks such as inventory write‑downs or receivable defaults, and develop proactive mitigation strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in full‑cycle accounting, financial reporting and audit coordination.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and communicate findings.
• Detail‑oriented approach to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
