Air Export Freight Forwarder – Evening Shift

About the role

Join DSV’s global logistics network as an Air Export Freight Forwarder working the evening shift in Shannon. You will be responsible for managing international air shipments from booking to departure, ensuring compliance, reliability and customer satisfaction across multiple time zones.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end air export shipments, from booking through departure.
• Arrange bookings with airlines and co‑loaders and issue export documentation (MAWB, HAWB, manifests, invoices).
• Ensure compliance with IATA, customs and security regulations.
• Coordinate cargo handling, acceptance and uplift schedules.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing updates and resolving issues.
• Monitor shipments, maintain accurate system updates and tracking.
• Liaise with DSV offices, airlines and service providers worldwide.
• Verify supplier invoices and ensure correct customer billing.

Required profile

• Experience in air freight forwarding, preferably export operations.
• Solid understanding of IATA regulations and customs procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Required skills

• CargoWise (or similar freight system) – advantage.
• Microsoft Excel.
• Microsoft Outlook.
• Microsoft Word.
