Air Freight Operator

About the role

CEVA Logistics is seeking an Air Freight Operator to join its Air Operations team in Dublin. You will be responsible for planning, booking, and managing international air freight shipments for both imports and exports, ensuring efficient and compliant movement of goods.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, book, and manage air freight shipments for import and export operations.
• Coordinate with customers, airlines, carriers, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor shipments from booking to final delivery and proactively address delays or issues.
• Maintain strong customer relationships through clear communication and high‑level service.
• Prepare and manage customs and shipping documentation, ensuring compliance with trade regulations.
• Produce accurate shipment documents such as air waybills and commercial invoices.
• Keep operational records and systems up to date.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support continuous efficiency gains.
• Resolve customer queries and operational challenges promptly.

Required profile

• Experience in air freight forwarding, international logistics, or supply chain operations.
• Good understanding of import/export processes, customs procedures, and Incoterms.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
