Android Developer (2026) – Ireland

About the role

We are seeking an Android Developer to join a fast‑moving team that builds high‑performance mobile applications for a global user base. Based in Ireland, you will work closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers and QA specialists to deliver engaging Android experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance Android applications using clean, efficient, well‑documented code.
• Support the full mobile lifecycle: planning, development, testing, deployment, maintenance and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with product, design, backend and QA teams to deliver high‑quality features.
• Write and execute unit and UI tests; debug and resolve issues to ensure stability and performance.
• Monitor app health via Crashlytics, ANR reports and performance metrics, addressing technical problems proactively.
• Implement analytics tracking, feature rollouts, configuration management and A/B testing.
• Maintain legacy codebases while introducing new features, technologies and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Minimum 2 years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to work across cross‑functional teams.
• Availability to overlap with GMT+2 to GMT+7 time zones.

Required skills

• Kotlin and Java programming for Android.
• Android SDK, application architecture and object‑oriented design.
• Publishing and maintaining apps on Google Play Store.
• Integration of third‑party libraries, APIs and mobile services.
• Experience with Crashlytics, ANR reporting and performance analysis tools.
• Implementation of product analytics and event tracking (e.g., Firebase Analytics).
• Unit testing and UI testing frameworks.
