Assistant Accountant

About the role

Centric Health is seeking a motivated Assistant Accountant to join its finance team at the Dublin head office. The role supports accurate financial reporting, strong controls, and day‑to‑day accounting operations while embracing digital tools and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and process AP, AR, banking transactions, journals and standard postings.
• Assist with month‑end close, including journal preparation, reconciliations, variance analysis and preliminary account reviews.
• Support budgeting and forecasting cycles and analyse performance against budget.
• Help prepare statutory audit documentation and ensure compliance with internal policies.
• Perform data accuracy checks and follow up on discrepancies.

Required profile

• Part‑qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent) with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Detail‑oriented, motivated and comfortable working with digital finance tools.
• Ability to work independently and contribute to a modern, automated finance function.
