Assistant Credit Controller

About the role

Join Allied World as an Assistant Credit Controller and support the credit control function for a global insurance and reinsurance provider. This 12‑month fixed‑term position offers the chance to develop your finance skills within a collaborative, knowledge‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform day‑to‑day cash allocations and banking credit control procedures.
• Reconcile receipts to open receivable balances and chase overdue amounts.
• Issue monthly statements and produce receivables reports for senior management.
• Process claim payment requests and assist in preparing monthly unallocated cash reports.
• Liaise with client representatives to ensure an effective credit control function.
• Maintain compliance with Sarbanes‑Oxley procedures related to credit control.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in a credit control role.
• Insurance knowledge is a plus but not mandatory.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and task‑prioritisation.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
