Assistant Vice President – Tax Compliance

About the role
The Maples Group is seeking an Assistant Vice President to join its Tax Compliance team in Dublin. This senior‑level position will lead corporation tax activities for a diverse portfolio of Irish funds and special purpose vehicles, supporting the firm’s global financial services offering.
Key responsibilities
- Manage all Corporation Tax compliance matters for the Tax Compliance Team.
- Review and prepare Irish Corporation Tax returns for a wide range of funds and SPVs, including aircraft leasing, RMBS and CLO vehicles.
- Supervise the wider Client Accounting and Tax Compliance Team to ensure timely filing and accurate tax payments.
- Handle client entity interactions with Irish Revenue, including managing audits.
- Assist with billing processes, annual budget preparation, and monthly performance reporting to the Executive Management Committee.
- Monitor Corporation Tax developments, advise team members, and provide training as needed.
- Maintain relationships with clients, legal and tax advisors, auditors, and other key stakeholders.
- Support client proposals and oversee the onboarding of new clients.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of Financial Services Tax experience, currently operating at Manager level.
- Professional qualification: AITI/CTA or CTC.
- ACA or ACCA qualification.
