Automation Engineer – Network Partner Data Platform

About the role

The Automation Engineer will help build a centralized platform that manages relationships, contacts, and service data for thousands of external network partners. Working hybrid from Dublin and home, you will design automated workflows, data pipelines, and operational tools to improve data quality and incident response.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement automated workflows for partner onboarding, contact updates, service renewals and data lifecycle management.
• Create self‑service tools for bulk data operations and automated alerts for stale or missing information.
• Build ETL pipelines that synchronize partner data across internal systems and migrate legacy data from spreadsheets, wikis and siloed databases.
• Develop reconciliation scripts to detect discrepancies and maintain data consistency.
• Automate operational processes such as retrieving partner contacts during network incidents, escalation workflows and runbook execution.
• Build dashboards and health‑check scripts to monitor data quality, freshness and platform adoption, and generate regular reports for leadership.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in automation engineering, data engineering or DevOps.
• Strong proficiency in Python for scripting, API integration and data manipulation.
• Experience building and consuming REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Familiarity with SQL, ETL concepts and job‑scheduling/orchestration tools such as Airflow or cron.
• Understanding of data‑quality principles including validation, deduplication and reconciliation.
• Ability to work independently and solve complex problems across large datasets.
