AWS Data Engineer & AI/ML Specialist (Remote Europe)

About the role

We are looking for three experienced AWS Data Engineers with AI/ML expertise to join large‑scale cloud transformation projects. This temporary, hands‑on role will involve designing, building and deploying scalable data pipelines, machine‑learning models and generative‑AI solutions on AWS for European customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and optimise data solutions using AWS services such as S3, Glue, Redshift, EMR, Kinesis and Lambda.
• Develop ETL/ELT pipelines, data models, data warehouses and analytics architectures.
• Implement data quality, governance, monitoring and operational best practices.
• Create end‑to‑end ML pipelines covering ingestion, model training, deployment, monitoring and continuous improvement.
• Use AWS AI/ML services including SageMaker, Bedrock, Comprehend and Rekognition.
• Build generative‑AI applications leveraging foundation models and retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) architectures.
• Apply MLOps practices: CI/CD automation, model lifecycle management, monitoring and governance.
• Collaborate with architects, data scientists and customer engineering teams to productionise AI solutions.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in ML engineering, data engineering or applied data science.
• Strong hands‑on experience delivering production‑grade solutions on AWS.
• Ability to work directly with customers and technical stakeholders.
• Fluent English communication skills.
