AWS DevOps Engineer – Remote Contract

About the role

We are looking for an AWS DevOps Engineer to join a consulting team that helps organisations scale their AWS usage and adopt DevOps practices. The role is fully remote and involves working directly with customer stakeholders during business hours in Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers in adopting DevOps practices and infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, CloudFormation or CDK.
• Provide operational support for compute, storage, networking and identity services, handling routine changes and driving improvements such as cost optimisation and security remediation.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations and management stakeholders to design and implement cloud solutions.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines, including AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild and CodeCommit where applicable.
• Participate in change-management processes and ensure configuration consistency across environments.

Required profile

• Strong background with AWS services (EC2, ECS, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, Lambda, etc.).
• Current AWS Associate or Professional certification.
• Experience delivering customer-facing consulting engagements.
• Positive, collaborative attitude and fluent English communication.
• Ability to take concepts to implementation and share knowledge within a team.

What we offer

• 6-month contract with possibility of renewal.
• Fully remote work for candidates residing in the EU with an EU passport.
• Daily rate of €450‑€525 depending on experience.
