Biology Masters - AI Data Trainer

About the role

Alignerr is seeking individuals with a Master’s level background in biology, biotechnology, biochemistry or related fields to help train cutting‑edge large language models. This fully remote, hourly contract allows you to apply your scientific expertise to AI data annotation without prior AI experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design advanced biology questions and problem sets to evaluate AI performance.
• Develop clear, step‑by‑step solutions with rigorous logical reasoning.
• Assess AI‑generated answers for accuracy, relevance, and quality of reasoning.
• Collaborate with AI researchers to refine benchmarks across undergraduate to master‑level biology topics.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or having completed a Master’s degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a closely related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities in advanced biological concepts.
• Excellent written communication skills for documenting solutions and providing structured feedback.
• Ability to work independently with flexible weekly hours (10–40 hours).
