Bioprocess Technician

About the role

PSC Biotech is seeking a Bioprocess Technician to join its manufacturing team. The role involves operating a state-of-the-art single-use bioprocess facility to produce biologic drug substance on a 24/7 shift schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Execute automated, paper-less recipes for inoculation, cell culture, filtration and purification of biologic drug substance.
• Set up and change single-use equipment between production runs.
• Follow GMP and EHS standards to ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Apply lean and standard-work techniques to optimise process performance and meet KPIs.
• Identify and resolve operational issues to maintain continuous batch production.
• Collaborate with the shift team to deliver batches on schedule.

Required profile

• Experience working in a biotech or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of GMP, EHS and quality-driven manufacturing practices.
• Ability to work autonomously on a rotating 24/7 shift schedule.
• Commitment to safety, continuous improvement and teamwork.
