About the role
The Brand and Marketing Manager will lead the brand and marketing function for the Children’s Health Foundation. This newly created role is responsible for shaping and delivering integrated, high‑impact campaigns that raise awareness, engage supporters and drive income growth for the charity.
Key responsibilities
- Provide visible leadership and line management to the brand and marketing team, setting clear expectations and ensuring accountability.
- Work with the Head of Brand and Marketing to develop and implement strategies that increase brand awareness across owned, earned and paid media.
- Coach and mentor a team of two, strengthening marketing capability, campaign execution skills and professional development.
- Collaborate with the Creative Specialist to optimise 360° campaign delivery.
- Conduct regular one‑to‑ones, performance reviews and team meetings to maintain high engagement and performance.
- Foster a collaborative, high‑performance culture that prioritises innovation and continuous improvement.
- Identify skills gaps, coordinate training and development opportunities for team members.
- Support the development and delivery of the marketing strategy, overseeing PR, media, digital, social and events to achieve brand‑awareness and fundraising goals.
- Identify and develop strategic partnerships and opportunities that amplify campaign impact.
Required profile
- Proven people‑management experience with the ability to lead and develop a small marketing team.
- Strong understanding of audience‑led, insight‑driven marketing, particularly within a fundraising or charitable context.
- Ability to translate strategic objectives into executable, integrated campaigns.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, coordinating agencies, media partners and internal teams.
- Commitment to maintaining a consistent brand presence and effective storytelling across all channels.
- Track record of delivering measurable campaign performance and driving continuous improvement.
