Business Analyst – Payments (Dublin)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our Payments team in Dublin. The role focuses on European payments, PSD2 and Open Banking initiatives, supporting regulatory compliance and transformation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead business and technical analysis across payments, fraud, authentication and open finance domains.
• Translate regulatory and business requirements into epics, user stories and functional specifications.
• Conduct gap and impact analysis on existing systems and processes.
• Define business, data and control requirements aligned with compliance and audit standards.
• Collaborate with architecture, security and technology teams to deliver compliant customer journeys and payment solutions.
• Support development and testing teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Ensure smooth transition to BAU with appropriate controls, monitoring and documentation.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of the European payments landscape and regulatory frameworks.
• Proven experience delivering PSD2 and Open Banking initiatives.
• Background in payments processing, fraud prevention and authentication projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management and requirements‑gathering abilities.
• Experience working in regulated financial services environments.
