Business Development Executive – On-Trade (North East Ireland)

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Executive to join the On‑Trade sales team for the North East Ireland territory. You will manage a portfolio of around 120 accounts, build strong relationships with on‑trade customers and drive commercial growth for our premium spirits portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver agreed distribution, pouring, visibility and volume targets across the assigned territory.
• Develop and execute customer and account plans aligned with commercial and brand objectives.
• Act as a trusted partner, identifying opportunities and delivering tailored commercial solutions.
• Create and present an annual district plan with quarterly reviews.
• Manage commercial agreements, including new pouring contracts and renewals.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews and ensure compliance with terms.
• Track budgets, P&L, marketing investment and trade discounts accurately.
• Use data and insights to identify growth opportunities and report performance via Salesforce and other tools.

Required profile

• Full, valid driver’s licence.
• Minimum 3 years proven experience in a sales or commercial role.
• Strong ability to build and maintain effective customer relationships.
• Demonstrated negotiation and influencing skills.
• Commercial awareness of trade margins and business performance.
• Excellent planning, organisational and multi‑tasking abilities.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to apply data insights to decisions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Salesforce.
• Experience using CRM systems and other digital sales tools.
