Business Development Manager – Industrial Welding Solutions

About the role

We are seeking a driven Business Development Manager to expand our customer base across Ireland. This field‑based, relationship‑focused sales role involves promoting a full range of welding machinery, consumables, hire solutions and specialist systems to fabrication, construction, engineering and manufacturing sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, target and develop new business opportunities across key industrial sectors.
• Manage and grow an existing account portfolio, building long‑term relationships with decision‑makers.
• Promote the complete product range, including welding equipment, consumables and robotic solutions.
• Develop and execute a structured call plan, efficiently covering the Irish territory.
• Collaborate with internal technical and service teams to deliver the right solutions and after‑sales support.
• Consistently achieve and exceed agreed sales targets and KPIs.
• Maintain accurate activity and pipeline records using a CRM system.

Required profile

• Proven track record in field sales or business development within trade, tools or industrial supply environments.
• Experience with builders providers, tool hire or industrial distributors is highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of construction, fabrication or engineering trades and how to sell into them.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Self‑motivated, well‑organised and comfortable working autonomously in a field‑based role.
• Full clean Irish driving licence.
