Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager will act as a trusted advisor to practice groups within a leading global law firm in Dublin. Reporting to the Regional Head of Business Development, the role focuses on designing and executing growth strategies that align with practice objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with practice leaders and the Regional Head of BD to develop data‑driven growth plans, budgets and KPIs.
• Track, report and demonstrate ROI of business development activities using internal BD and marketing tools.
• Collaborate with global and regional marketing teams to create content for campaigns, collateral and digital initiatives.
• Identify and manage strategic sponsorships, speaking opportunities and legal directory submissions.
• Lead client relationship initiatives, prepare credentials, proposals, pitches and RFP responses.
• Maintain CRM data, monitor market trends and provide insights to lawyers.
• Coordinate multi‑workstream BD projects, ensuring timely delivery and cross‑functional collaboration.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development, preferably within professional services or legal environments.
• Strong analytical, planning and project‑management capabilities.
• Ability to work closely with partners, practice leaders and cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
