C295 B1 Aircraft Technician – Worldwide Travel

About the role

Airbus International Services (AIS) is seeking a qualified C295 B1 Technician to join its Airplane Business Line. The role supports Airbus Defence & Space and AIS on short‑term and long‑term missions worldwide, requiring frequent travel and collaboration with international teams.

Key responsibilities

• Exercise licence/approval for inspection and daily processes on Light Transport Aircraft (C295 or CN235).
• Certify scheduled and unscheduled tasks, including maintenance, service bulletins, and modifications.
• Perform inspections, repairs, replacements, functional checks, troubleshooting and fault isolation.
• Carry out functional tests and deliver aircraft to customers.
• Manage small groups of non‑licensed mechanics and certify their work.
• Debrief crews to ensure accurate defect recording.
• Maintain high‑quality documentation and ensure equipment and facilities meet standards.
• Analyse technical information and support workforce and workload management.

Required profile

• Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic or comparable qualification.
• Valid EASA or EMAR Part 66 B1 licence with type rating for the C295.
• Experience in civil or military aircraft maintenance.
• Willingness to travel worldwide and work on‑site.
