CAPEX Engineering Manager

About the role

Haleon is seeking a CAPEX Engineering Manager to lead a multimillion‑dollar annual capital investment portfolio across site engineering and infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for aligning capital projects with the site’s strategic plans and ensuring delivery within budget and schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the annual capital investment portfolio, including new builds, equipment upgrades, and infrastructure improvements.
• Prepare robust project proposals with cost estimates, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Monitor capital expenditure, financial performance, and compliance with governance standards.
• Lead site capital governance forums, monthly reviews, and project approval boards.
• Act as Site Duty Holder for construction activities, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
• Manage end‑to‑end delivery of capital projects, coordinating engineers, contractors, and external partners.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers and construction partners, overseeing the Permit to Work (PTW) system.
• Maintain the Facility Investment Plan and lead the annual asset verification process.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large‑scale capital projects in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with senior engineering, operations, and finance leaders.
• Demonstrated ability to ensure project delivery within safety, quality, cost, and timeline KPIs.
