About the role
Don’t just start your engineering career – build one that moves faster. You’ll join the Electrical team in Dublin, working alongside experienced engineers on real building‑services projects from concept design through construction and handover.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with the design of electrical building services across multiple sectors.
- Produce electrical drawings, schematics and BIM models using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Carry out engineering calculations such as load assessments, cable sizing, voltage‑drop and lighting calculations.
- Support the design of power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, security, data, renewable energy and EV‑charging systems.
- Coordinate with mechanical engineers, architects and multidisciplinary design teams.
- Attend project meetings and site visits, supporting inspections and resolving technical issues.
Required profile
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Services Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
- Graduate experience in electrical design or building services (placements or internships welcomed).
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit MEP and Microsoft Office.
- Understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals and building services design.
- Strong communication, organisation and problem‑solving skills.
- Proactive attitude with a genuine desire to learn and develop.
