Caseworker – Transition Support

About the role

The Caseworker – Transition Support will assist Beneficiaries of Temporary Protection (BOTPs) in Ireland, helping them navigate changes in accommodation, integration and future pathways. The role involves individualized casework, needs assessments, guidance, action planning and referrals to appropriate services.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor project activities, retrieve and analyse data, and present findings.
• Conduct needs assessments, develop transition support strategies, and adapt SOPs to individual circumstances.
• Coordinate with State Accommodation Centres, external partners and internal units to resolve operational issues.
• Provide accurate information, referrals, translation and interpretation services to BOTPs.
• Draft status reports, correspondence, briefing notes and other documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with at least three years of professional experience, or high school diploma with five years of experience.
• Experience working with migrants, refugees or other vulnerable groups, preferably in an international humanitarian setting.
• Fluency in English, Ukrainian and Russian (oral and written); additional UN language knowledge is desirable.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Publisher.
• Strong case‑management and data‑analysis abilities.
