Casual Conference and Events Assistant

About the role

The Conrad Dublin, a 5‑star Hilton Luxury hotel, is seeking a Casual Conference and Events Assistant to support the smooth delivery of meetings, conferences and special events. You will work on‑site, helping to set up venues, manage breaks and provide attentive service to guests throughout each event.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and arrange meeting rooms and event spaces according to client specifications.
• Set up audio‑visual equipment, furniture, signage and catering stations.
• Monitor and replenish break refreshments, ensuring a seamless experience for attendees.
• Assist the events team during live events, providing guest support and addressing any on‑the‑spot needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards of all event areas before, during and after use.

Required profile

• Previous experience working in a luxury hotel or similar hospitality environment.
• Strong motivation to create memorable guest experiences.
• Luxury mindset – anticipates guest needs and personalises service.
• Team‑player who is collaborative, flexible and enthusiastic.
• Ambitious, passionate and eager to develop within the hospitality sector.
