Category Sourcing Expert

About the role

We are looking for a strategic Category Sourcing Expert who will act as a change agent, combining creative and analytical thinking to drive sourcing initiatives across multiple geographies. The role requires strong relationship‑building skills and the ability to deliver results from innovative ideas.

Key responsibilities

• Lead category sourcing strategies and supplier management activities in complex, multi‑project environments.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and coordinate cross‑functional meetings and conference calls.
• Conduct negotiations, cost management, and analytical assessments to achieve savings.
• Develop and maintain sourcing documentation, including commercial legal terms and contracts.
• Utilize procurement tools such as Ariba and SAP to support sourcing processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Proven experience in project and stakeholder management across multiple geographies.
• Background in category sourcing, supplier management, or purchasing.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Strong communication skills for leading meetings and calls.

Required skills

• Strategic sourcing and negotiation expertise.
• Cost management and analytical capabilities.
• Knowledge of commercial legal terminology related to contracting.
• Experience with IT/Technology categories (preferred).
• Familiarity with Ariba, SAP, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office.
• Relevant certifications such as CPSM, CPM, CIPS, CSCP, or Lean Six Sigma (preferred).
