Catering Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Catering Assistant to join our food service team. In this role you will ensure high‑quality service of food and beverages to customers while maintaining a clean and safe environment. You will work closely with colleagues to support daily operations and uphold our standards.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to customers in accordance with company standards.
• Perform cleaning duties for service areas, equipment and furniture.
• Prepare service stations and ensure they are ready for operation.
• Store food items and equipment correctly after service.
• Maintain personal hygiene, appearance and uniform as required.
• Promote a positive image and foster good customer relations.
• Assist in implementing health and safety policies.
• Support equal‑opportunity initiatives within the workplace.

Required profile

• High personal standards with strong attention to detail.
• Previous experience in a similar catering or food‑service role.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Interest in developing culinary and food‑preparation abilities.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of food hygiene practices.
• Understanding of HACCP principles.
