Centre Director

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Centre Director to lead OnCampus Ireland’s Maynooth campus. Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for the overall academic, operational and financial performance of the centre, ensuring high student satisfaction and strong partnerships with Irish universities.

Key responsibilities

• Drive academic success, student progression to partner universities and financial performance.
• Develop and maintain relationships with partner and affiliate universities, identifying collaboration opportunities.
• Implement and monitor policies of OnCampus and external bodies (QQI, ILEP, IEM, TU Dublin, immigration).
• Lead, motivate and appraise management staff, fostering professional growth.
• Prepare and manage the centre’s annual budget and ongoing forecasts.
• Support sales and marketing initiatives to strengthen relationships with partners, agents and prospective students.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (NFQ Level 8 or 9) and a postgraduate qualification such as PGCE or MBA.
• Extensive senior leadership experience in an academic setting.
• Minimum three years of teaching experience in secondary, further or higher education.
• Proven experience in curriculum design and programme management.
• Strong understanding of Irish and EU higher‑education systems and the needs of international students.
• Demonstrated ability to create innovative opportunities in higher education.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Teams.
